Don Truluck's Profile

Mr. Don Truluck has been a resident of Florence County his entire life. He graduated from Palmer College with a degree in accounting and business management and also attended classes at Furman University, USC and NC State. He is married to the former Pat Farmer and is a member of Highland Park Methodist Church. Over the years he has served on various boards and civic organizations such as The Citizens Bank, Quality Financial Services, Garden City Chapel, Carolina Academy, and Lake City United Methodist Church. He served in the US Army and is an Eagle Scout. Prior to commercial real estate, Don worked with Elkay Industries, Inc. a New York based apparel firm. During his 30 year career with Elkay, he was responsible for sales, marketing, manufacturing, plant location, real estate procurement, both domestically and offshore. He was instrumental in developing manufacturing facilities in the United States, Mexico, Costa Rica, Haiti, and Dominican Republic. In sales and marketing, he worked with major retailers and mass merchants such as, Wal Mart, K-Mart, Target, Family Dollar, Dollar General, JC Penney, Dillards, and Belk's. Mr. Truluck has been affiliated with, owned, or worked for companies such as, Elkay Industries, Anchor Apparel, Randy Coker Ford, Truluck International, Inland Realty, and Coldwell Banker Commercial Seaboard Properties.
